In its normal state, the valve remains closed, with the elbow diaphragm sealing off the valve's inner cavity, effectively blocking the pipeline's path.
By toggling the handwheel or actuating the drive, the valve stem is propelled upwards, causing the spherical diaphragm to bend upward. This transition enables a conductive state, facilitating cleaning and opening. The diaphragm effectively segregates the lower valve body's inner cavity from the upper valve cover's inner cavity. This ensures that components such as the valve stem and valve core, positioned above the diaphragm, remain shielded from medium-induced corrosion. The absence of a packing sealing structure eliminates any risk of medium leakage. The valve body has been meticulously optimized to ensure thorough drainage of cleaning fluids, leaving no stagnation behind.
